The Char Rotisserie Bronte

This place has been a staple drop in for years now. For walkers doing the Coogee-Bondi, this is a perfect pit stop for a high quality lunch, healthy and with plenty of options. For those who don’t like to walk, maybe Char can be the dangling carrot to get you to do the coastal walk. The food is consistently good, the salads are so varied and there are so many other warm food options. It’s just high reward, low risk place that once you try, you will for sure keep coming back. Special shoutout to Aupee, she’s the best, and all the hardworking staff who are mostly students, so respectful, kind and care deeply about their jobs. You make Char and the community much richer.

A very cozy grilled chicken restaurant in Bronte. The portion size is very generous. The chicken is succulent inside with crispy skin outside. Salad options are at a fair amount. Also, for some reason, they also serve a wide collection of Asian foods.

Omg this was INSANE!! Walked in absolutely starving after a day of walking and beach, craving the photos I'd seen online and they DELIVERED mwah!! I had the 1/2 chicken and 2 salad combo, got the marinade chicken (my gosh, so succulent and flavourful?!!) with the tabouli and mixed bean salad. It was perfection and just what I needed. So much food!! What a great portion!! Will most definitely be back :)) So much protein and fibre?! So slay. 10/10 YUM

Great choice of salads - tried three of them, all were delicious. Also the egg rice and the eggplant parmigiana were delicious! Prices are totally ok - great for a healthy lunch or dinner
